For Year 25, RRD developed a more compact wetsuit range that focuses on the rider’s high quality needs. New improved materials and seam technologies with a focus on less environmental impact. A well balanced high performance wetsuit range. All wetsuits now feature environmental limestone neoprene foam which is laminated with water based lamination glue. This solvent free glue eliminates toxic chemicals used in wetsuits before. All black wetsuits now feature a new dyeing technology called dope dye, this process saves a huge amount of polluted wastewater and energy. From the beginning the RRD wetsuit collection carries on the concept of adapting pure surfing wetsuits to also suit kite, windsurfing & supping, by adding specific features to the suits. We focus on innovative design, combined with performance, style and durability to create products for all types of riders and conditions.

The goal for the Celsius wetsuits was to create a wetsuit focused on unrestricted flexibility and comfort. It’s as close to that boardshort feeling, even in winter days. The Celsius’s signature minimal seam design, combined with the most flexible I-Foam limestone neoprene, results in these high-performance wetsuits. Glued and blindstitched seam construction allows for the most flexible seams. Seam stress areas are reinforced on the inside by heat welded neotape strips. These also protect the skin against potential seam irritation. While the main side and knee pad seams are reinforced on the outside by a liquid rubber seal. This prevents blindsttich seams from fraying, especially when carrying your board with non slip against your wetsuit. The Celsius range is built for riders and athletes that require best performance, comfort and flexibility.
